These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TRIV platform operated at trivplay.com. By accessing or using TRIV, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to participate in skill-based competitions with real-money prizes in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring your use of TRIV complies with applicable local laws.

Platform Description

TRIV is a skill-based sports trivia competition platform. Match outcomes are determined by player knowledge, reaction speed, and strategic play — not by chance or random number generation. Prizes are awarded in USDC on the Polygon network.

Accounts and Wallets

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and associated wallet. TRIV uses non-custodial wallet infrastructure. You retain control of your private keys through our authentication provider.

Match Rules and Stakes

• All match terms (stakes, rules, skill parameters) are presented before entry and require your acceptance.
• Entry fees are deducted from your balance upon match confirmation.
• Prize payouts are settled via on-chain smart contracts after match completion.
• Server-authoritative timing governs all match clocks and answer validation.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to play matches
• Manipulate timing, scores, or match outcomes
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage
• Collude with other players to fix match results
• Use the platform for money laundering or other illegal activities

Fees and Settlement

TRIV charges a platform fee on match prize pools as disclosed before match entry. Settlement occurs on the Polygon blockchain. Network gas fees may apply to on-chain transactions.

Dispute Resolution

Match results are final once settled on-chain. For pre-settlement disputes, contact hello@trivplay.com within 24 hours of match completion.

Limitation of Liability

TRIV is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for losses arising from blockchain network issues, third-party service failures, or user error in wallet management.

Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of TRIV after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
